Some frequently asked questions regarding our services and general nappy advice
Q. I’m confused by washable nappies; can you offer me some advice?
A. YES! We offer independent nappy advice. Either call or email us and we’ll be more than happy to talk nappies with you.
Q. Can I visit your store?
A. We don’t have a physical retail store but if you are local to North Somerset/Bristol you can visit us at home for a nappy demonstration or to collect orders.
Q. Can I order over the phone?
A. Yes, you can order and pay over the phone using a credit or debit card. Just call 01275 542560
Q. Can you send me a catalogue?
A. No, we don’t produce catalogues due to the environmental impact and additional costs.
Q. How many reusable nappies will I need for full time use?
A. You will need at least 18 to have some in the wash, some in use and some ready.
Q. How do I wash my cloth nappies?
A. We recommend washing nappies in a small amount of powder detergent (or soap nuts) at 40c with a long rinse cycle. Gel and liquid detergents are not recommended for use with cloth nappies.
Q. How long will my washable nappies take to dry?
A. That all depends on the material. Microfibre dries the quickest, then cotton, then bamboo and then hemp which can take several days. Pocket nappies with removeable inserts dry quickly with All in One nappies taking the longest.
Q: Do I need to use a liner in my reusable nappies?
A. We suggest using a liner to help remove solids from the nappies and help to prevent staining.
